(Free) Adult TV via Satellite?
Adult TV in South East Asia
Quite often we receive questions about possible free adult TV channels on the satellites in the South East Asian region.
To our knowledge the only way to view such adult content satellite channels is by using the same satellite receivers as one would use to view subscription (pay) TV and aiming your satellite dish at the NSS6 satellite or some of the Japanese satellites. As we do not have experience with this type of satellite TV receiver at this time, we can not tell you an awful lot about how to find the sexy TV Channels on those satellites or what naughty content is available on these adult satellite TV channels.
Besides that: we hear a lot of talk about companies like Free-XTV, which is an "subscription-free" channel that make most of their income from selling hardware (cam cards) that you will require to view their adult content channel, that are currently upgrading their scrambling service and thus offer users a limited 2 years free viewing of their 2 adult TV satelliet channels. After these two years they will alter their hardware requirements again and all viewers will need to replace their adult TV cards again.
Our guess is that only one of the XSAT auto update satellite receivers; the pci satelllite TV cards for use in a personal computer or the new Dream box decoder / receivers, which run on Linux software, will be able to keep up with these changes on adult satellite TV stations, at limited costs.
So for all of you that are hoping to view X rated or even R rated movies, either on from the satellite or even from DVD rental shops in Thailand, without having at least a sensor blur covering the indecent spot of the screen, is in for a big disappointment. Censorship has been on the rise again over the last few years, so indecent exposures are at a minimum now, even though the country's reputation might cause visitors to expect the opposite. Adult TV in Thailand is, therefore, not to be expected any time soon. Not via the satellite and not via cable TV.
